What Is Dîner en Blanc?
If you’re not familiar, Dîner en Blanc began over 30 years ago in Paris as a secret pop-up picnic, and has since grown into a global celebration of style, elegance, and community.
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, this worldwide tradition returns to Richmond for its 8th year, at a brand-new secret location.
Not Your Average Dinner Party
But please keep in mind: this is not your average dinner party. The event is invitation only. Guests are required to dress head-to-toe in white and bring their own tables, chairs, gourmet meals, and centerpieces for a magical evening of dining, dancing, and champagne under the stars.
Everything from the location to the wine list is curated for a truly unforgettable experience. And trust me, the visuals alone are worth it. This is the kind of night your Instagram dreams about.
This Year’s Theme: Blooming Elegance
Think floral-inspired fashion, romantic tablescapes, and a celebration of beauty, joy, and grace. The moment you step into this world, you’ll feel like you’re in Paris—which means a lot to me, as I’m still reeling from my Parisian honeymoon just a few weeks ago.
And while I likely won’t get back to Paris until next year, Dîner en Blanc is the perfect stand-in to hold me over.

From now until September 13th, I’ll even be incorporating a touch of white into every outfit as a countdown to the big night.
